Shades of Gary Cooper , and John Wayne , I realize that a lot of our kids and Grandkids have been in plays or have starred in plays , But I wonder if they recieved their Tallent from old Grandpa , HAR, har, Har, Chuckle,

Finishing the Make up in my Senior Play

In my Senior Year, l played the part of Doctor Watson which was the leading Part in the play "The Zombie"

I am the Person with the Mustach on the left part of the Screen . about the only thing that i can remember

is that we recieved 5 standing ovations after we had finished .

that about 15 years after this picture when Grandpa was a Union Pacific Tie Inspector ,That for 3 years Grandpa walked 20 miles every day and in those 3 years ,they was 3 of us doing this job and in the 3 years
We walked all the way from Los Angels - Portland , Oregon , And from Portland Oregan , to Omaha, Nebraska
and from Salina , Kansas to Cheyenne , Wyoming ever step of the way .

Grandpa and Grandma Secret

Bonnie asked How i felt when we had our first child . I guess now is as good as time to Tell you all about Grandpa & Grandma's Secret . Before we got married Mollie was told that she Probaly would not be able have any Children and she told me why . As it was Mollie had to have a female operation before we was married and it was done in twin falls by a doctor schoul . But we loved each other very much and we went ahead of our plans to Marry regardless of what would happen . When Jerry our first born arrived , incidently the same doctor schoul who did the earlier operation on mollie was the same doctor who brought jerry into the world .
The Doctor came up to me after the Delivery and said " I guess you know that this is a miricle baby "
As to How i felt , Words could never Explain , But we do Consider all four Children as Miricle babies that
were given to us by our Father in Heaven .

Grandpa & Grandma First Date

Our First date , it was a Blind date , Because we did not met before . The Date was set up by my Best Friend , a Guy named Ross Powers, We both was working as section jerries at Hammett , Ross Lived in Glenns Ferry. He was dating a girl named Datlene from Shoshone . She and Mollie Fixed Supper for us . and Belive it or not , We did not Kiss on our first date , But i think both of us . relized that we had found our mate for Life . but the parting speach from Mollie "Was When are we are we going to see each other again , " andi guess from that time
we was on a date ever week end . Untill we got Married about 6 Month later . And i Guess that if i had it do do over again, it would be with the Same Person .
